Owners of other unsupported NVIDIA cards can probably add support for their cards by copying the PCI\VEN information from the device in device manager

Hello, resource conflict is because you used XP drivers. Remove it and use Vista drivers, exactly "Toshiba Secure Digital host controller". Works fine on Win 7.

Also unable to get SD slot working in win7. Device manager shows a 'Base system Device' that windows could find drivers for. Tried updating with XP drivers to no avail. Was able to install the 'base system device' with the SD host controller drivers, but once I put a sd card into the slot, windows was then unable to find drivers for 'SD Card'. That's as far as i got.

I installed Vista_98.13 from www.laptopvideo2go.com on my Satellite M30 and everything seems to be OK (Aero + games)

However, I can not get windows to turn off the display or change its brightness. Even when I close the lid, the display does not turn off (it remains on).

I downloaded "TOSHIBA Value Added Package" from Toshiba's website (download section for Satellite M30), and I got the toshiba power saver, FN keys and the like, but I still can not turn off the display.

Any suggestions?

Please help!!

I have tried everything and am about to lanch this Toshiba M30 into space. Please could someone help and email me the com modules and chipset to trevorwoodman@hotmail.com. I have tried downloading them and it does not work. I would also like a link to the display drivers as when I down load the file from nvidia it will not let me see the files in order to change them.

Many thanks,

Hey guys thanks a bunch for all this info. I have successfully installed the nvidia driver for my m30 as well as the value added package. Rating is now at 2.0. Can somebody still post those beta drivers somewhere, though?

I got aero and 3d flip working perfectly, all function keys working except for f2, but I have a weird problem: My dvd rom drive only reads dvds and fails to recognise CDs. Is this related to some driver that I have not loaded? Could this be the intel chipset one? I am using the retail version of Windows Vista Ultimate.

Any help appreciated.
