    This works nicely – thanks for your work. (The version on mozilla.org is the version that doesn’t work with FF2.0 – I hacked mine to make it work but you might want to update it on there!)

    Can I request that it takes a template for the post? I prefer doing target=”_blank” for my outgoing URLs, it’d be nice if this could do it automatically based on my chosen template… or something.

    Love the plugin and use it extensively. But I’ve noticed that it drops the text in completely without formatting. Things like paragraphs and even apostrophes are stripped out.

    Is this a setting in Live Writer, or something the plugin does?

    This was installed with FF 2.x when I upgraded to 3.x, and now I can’t use it or delete it / uninstall it. How do I get it out of my list of add-ons in FF 3.x?

    I just updated the plug-in to FF 3. It is updated on the site, as version 0.4. It will soon appear on Mozilla site as well.

    I am quite impressed with your plugin. I prefer to run portable apps, and currently run WindowsLiveWrite in a portable state (see http://www.techlifeweb.com/2007/09/08/windows-live-writer-portable-20-now-with-u3/). This, of course, breaks the extension. Is there a way to “hardwire” the extension so that it can use a custom installation path?

    Hi Ian,
    The plug-in uses the standard API of Windows Live Writer. So this is an issue with windows live writer.
    I think the API uses the registry for some work, maybe the portable versiuon should write some registry values as well ?

    Could you please more of your system details. Make sure you have Live Writer installed as well, it shouldn’t be on a flash device or anything.

    Really great plugin! Saves us a lot of work.
    Is it possible to change to a default – target=”_blank” – when links are pasted? (has to be added manually now) same goes for now standard blockquote tags around text, can this be changed to normal text?

    Hi,

    First – thank you for the great plugin and it saves a lot of time for me and I’m sure for a lot of other people.

    Recently I have noticed that the plugin is not able to boot up Live Writer software. When I click on the contextual link nothing happens. Sometimes it works like a breeze.

    I’m using Vista Ultimate and have 3 GB of RAM.

    Anyone else had a problem with this?

    Just a heads up, the 3.5 firefox update makes this plugin not work anymore. I hope you get a chance to update it, it’s a great add on!
